Study Guide — The Right Posture for Learning Success Philosophy

Success philosophy is not knowledge; it is a blueprint for practice. Reading alone changes nothing. This guide covers the posture, the procedure and the pitfalls for getting the most out of the 800 questions.

1. Seven Principles Before You Start

1. Separate principles from fashions

Most success formulas depend on era, culture and luck. This site is limited to principles with repeatable evidence across regions and decades — compounding, feedback loops, trust. Anecdotes about famous people illustrate principles; they are not templates to copy.

2. Always suspect survivorship bias

What successful people have in common means nothing unless you also count those who did the same and failed. The "Issue" section of every question exists to state the conditions under which the method does not work.

3. Train judgment, not answers

The correct multiple-choice option represents the most robust reasoning. Aim to explain why the other options are weaker, not to memorise letters.

4. Write essay answers yourself first

Retrieval is one of the most effective learning methods known. Reading the model answer first only produces the feeling of understanding.

5. Rewrite the issue and improvement for your own situation

Each improvement is a general solution. It becomes an executable plan only once rewritten for your profession, country, family and finances.

6. Forecasts are for preparing, not for being right

The scenarios in categories 7 and 8 are not prophecies. Prioritise actions that work whether the optimistic, base or pessimistic future arrives: diversified skills, an emergency fund, relationship capital, health.

7. Define success yourself

People weigh income, status, freedom, contribution, relationships and health differently. Learn without a definition and you will end up running toward someone else's goal.

3. How to Work Through One Question (6–8 minutes)

  1. Read the question and decide intuitively (30 s). For MC, note your reason in a few words before choosing.
  2. Check the answer and, right or wrong, explain to yourself why the other options are weaker (1 min).
  3. Read the explanation. Note just one theory or study you did not know (2 min).
  4. Read the issue and mark the barriers that apply to you (1 min).
  5. Rewrite the improvement in your own words, down to when, where and what (2 min).
  6. Review with the random quiz at the weekend; revisit missed questions after two weeks.
